The person that bought my stolen phone changed all the information (they actually used their real name, their address, their email and change my pin. My LG Stylo 6 was stolen, I reported it to Boost Mobile they assured me they would Blacklist the IMEI number so it couldn't be used. They do but I warn you against trusting Boost Mobile!! The technology used in NFC is based on older RFID (Radio-frequency identification) ideas, which used electromagnetic induction in order to transmit information.^IFV This means that devices must adhere to certain specifications in order to communicate with each other properly. Near Field Communication is another standard for wireless data transitions.

Just like Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and all manner of other wireless signals, NFC works on the principle of sending information over radio waves. Public transport card readers and touch payment terminals are also good examples of the technology. Smartphones are by far the most common form of active NFC device. Active devices are able to both send and receive data, and can communicate with each other as well as with passive devices. However, they don’t process any information sent from other sources, and can’t connect to other passive components. Passive NFC devices include tags, and other small transmitters, that can send information to other NFC devices without the need for a power source of their own. A range of devices can use the NFC standard and will be considered either passive or active. This requires at least one transmitting device, and another to receive the signal. IT is a wireless technology and as the name implies, it enables short-range communication between compatible devices.

Near Field Communication (NFC) technology allows users to make secure transactions, exchange digital content, and connect electronic devices with a touch and it can also be used to quickly connect with wireless devices and transfer data with Android Beam. NFC is short for Near Field Communication. I can't wait to pay off this dumb phone so I can get a different one and for the first time in many many many years I will be choosing a new phone that is not LG unfortunately. I contacted my cell phone carrier and they did nothing that helped and couldn't seem to figure out why it has been doing this. At first it seems to only happen on the weekends but now it is usually daily and now most every time I get on my phone. I have freed up space and optimized my phone and that didn't help. No wierd games or anything but that didn't make a difference. I have tried uninstalling most my apps which are regularly used apps. When I text or type anything in it adds several of the same letter and also frequently clicks on things on the screen I don't even touch or doesn't respond at all. Doesn't matter where I touch the screen either. It frequently pulls the notification bar every other time I touch the screen. For the last 3 months my phone started having touch screen problems to the point I hate even using it because it is so frustrating and I can't do anything on it. The last 3 months have been the worst!! I have not dropped the phone and have always had a phone case on the phone since I have had it nor has it been exposed to water or liquid either. It seems maybe a little slower processing wise but I learned to deal with that. I loved the other 2 Stylos I owned so much. Until now I have only ever really like LG phones and have stayed faithful and swore by this brand. I have owned the LG Stylo 4 and LG Stylo 5x and then I got this phone LG Stylo 6. Screen problems I leased this phone in March 2021.
